Delighted to announce that Alex Gallego is a recipient of this years SUUNTO award for exceptional contribution to the sport. Over the years Alex has worked very hard to promote sport diving through his various adventures in big holes in the ground and diving on previously unexplored wrecks, but more importantly, through his duties as BDO of Grampian branch, encouraging new divers into the sport and cajoling more established members towards further development of their skills.
This award has become an annual event at the dive conference and is supported by SUUNTO who donate the prizes, of which there are usually 6.
Alex could not be at the conference to receive his award directly, but was presented with his SUUNTO D6i dive computer and certificate at the start of the pool session on Monday 21st Nov.
